How to Receive Revelation from the Bible

Many Christians I have talked to are under the impression that you would have to be a pastor, ordained minister, or have Christ appear to them to have the ability to receive revelation from their Bible. This is not one bit the case. The Christians I have shared what I am about to share with you are no longer held by these ideas. They are now enjoying what Christ promised us in John 16:13 and you will too! Please read on.

YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE A ROCKET SCIENTIST TO UNLOCK THE MYSTERIES OF GOD IN THE BIBLE

Many people have been misled into thinking you need to go to Bible School or Bible College to unlock the Truths of the Bible. Or that you need someone with the title of Pastor, Priest, or Ordained Minister to teach you the Bible. This is not one bit true! Did you know that Christ was a poor, and unschooled carpenter? Did you know that some of the Apostles Christ chose were uneducated and unschooled men too? Are you seeing some Truth in what I am sharing?

Have you ever wondered how Christ being an unschooled carpenter knew all there was to know about God and His Word (the Bible) as well as His Apostles? Yes, He was The Christ, but there is a Truth that is being overlooked because religion has done a great job at making His identity seem unattainable.

 

Have you ever wondered how was it that some unschooled and uneducated fishermen ever became spiritually knowledgeable Apostles? They didn't attend Bible school or seminary, that's for sure. These institutions didn't even exist back then! It was God's Holy Spirit that powerfully worked in Christ and the Apostles to teach them everything they knew about God the Father!

This Truth will become clear when you read John 14:12. Here Christ tells His Apostles and us, "Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father." Christ tells us that we would do even greater things than He even did! And guess what? When He ascended and gave the Holy Spirit to His Apostles, the Apostles began giving it to other believers and that is exactly what happened! No Bible school, no doctorate, no fancy titles! It was the Holy Spirit that taught each one of them The Truth and also led them to do even the great works Christ did!

 

In John 16:13 Christ tells us and His Apostles, "But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come." And 1 John 2:27 reveals that this being the case you do not need anybody to teach you! 1 John 2:27 says to us, "But you have received the Holy Spirit, and he lives within you, so you don't need anyone to teach you what is true. For the Spirit teaches you everything you need to know, and what he teaches is true- it is not a lie."

MASAAKI HATSUMI VERSUS THE MARTIAL ARTS STUDIO AT THE NEIGHBORHOOD PLAZA 

Think about this. If I wanted to be the best martial arts fighter that ever lived, do you think this would be attainable by going to the martial arts studio at the neighborhood plaza where my neighbor takes their kids? Or would you say going to Japan to be trained by one of Japan's few remaining ninja practitioners, Masaaki Hatsumi, would be the wisest option?

 

An obvious choice isn't it? Masaaki Hatsumi of course. However, did you know that most Christians, not all but most, are doing something comparable to getting trained by that neighborhood plaza martial arts studio (religion) instead of going to The Infinite Source (Holy Spirit) to be taught about God and the great mysteries of life?

Christ didn't come down to just die for our sins! If that was the case He could've just stayed in the comfort of heaven and let us continue sacrificing animals to cover that! He died to gift us way more than that! He not only died for our sins but He also died to finally connect us to our Heavenly Father like Father originally intended! The Holy Spirit is that Holy Connection to our Heavenly Father! It allows us to hear Father, feel Father, speak to Father, see Father spiritually in action around us, and so much more!

THE BIBLE IS GOD'S MIND, HEART, DIVINE REVELATORY LIFE MANUAL, DIARY, AND LOVE LETTER TO YOU

Why do you think the earth shook and the curtain of the temple split in two after Christ said, "It is finished"? You see, the curtain in the temple was what separated the Most Holy Place from the world. No imperfect human could go into the Most Holy Place and survive it because it was Holy ground and after Adam sinned, we became his unholy seed. Only the appointed High Priest could periodically go in there but he had to keep the rituals to stay holy. If he went in there unholy, he would die and the Bible informs us that some did.

The Most Holy Place was where Father's Holy Spirit lived in the temple for centuries. However, the moment Christ gave up His Spirit, Matthew 27:51 tells us, "At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom." Do you know why? Because your Heavenly Father couldn't wait to finally embrace you and be one with you! This is what He paid dearly for! This is why He crossed so many deserts, fought countless battles, and never stopped until He finally reached you!

 

The entire Bible from the Old Testament to the New Testament contains His personal diary of all of His struggles to finally be with you! In it He will reveal to you His Infinite Mind, His Eternal Heart, your divine life manual. He intended this as a gift to you so that you could unlock infinite fountains of Truth with the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Once unlocked, this Truth will finally connect you to Him in a divine and supernatural way you could have never fathomed!

 

However, looking to another imperfect human being to teach you who God is will only hinder unlocking the valuable Truth Father paid dearly to gift you. It could only be unlocked through the supernatural guidance and revelation of the Holy Spirit. 

 

Christ reveals the irony in this in Luke 6:39 when He tells us, "Can the blind lead the blind? Will they not both fall into a pit?"  Truly, you will only be as good and get as far as the imperfect human you are following has gotten which isn't very far when compared to where the infinite Holy Spirit of God can take you.

 

Can you imagine growing to infinite levels that have no end in sight? This is the precious gift of the Holy Spirit that Father paid dearly to gift us in Christ. The Holy Spirit of God...an infinite source that is all-knowing, all-powerful, almighty, and He is readily available to live inside each one of us. Not only to teach us the Word of God but also to teach us all there is to know about anything and everything!

ARE YOU SAYING WE CAN'T LEARN FROM OTHERS?

Can we learn from others? Of course we can! The Bible says some of us have the gift of teaching and encourages us to use it. (Romans 12:7) However, this gift was not meant to make a human with the gift of teaching humanity's main source of God-connection, God-knowledge, and God-direction as we see in most religious structures today. Religion's man-made structure has set up one imperfect human being to lead thousands of people to whom he feels God is and what He requires from us

 

Here, let me put it to you like this. If you began dating someone you had a big crush on, would you be okay if the arrangement was for their best friend to be the one to exclusively spend time with you to tell you who your crush is and what they like for the life of the relationship? That would be silly right?

 

However, why isn't it silly when we go to a human being to know who God is when God already provided us Himself (Holy Spirit) to know Him? Think about it. Why would Father have paid such a high price to give us such a silly setup?! He could've just kept Christ comfortable in heaven and let the highly educated Pharisees continue teaching us about God! Do you see how silly these religious man-made structures are?!

 

Truly, the gift of teaching was meant to be used as a tool to edify and help each other on our spiritual journey, all the while keeping Father's Holy Spirit as our main source to connect for divine relationship, teaching, and direction.

HOW TO RECEIVE REVELATION

Before opening up your Bible to read it is very important to invoke the Holy Spirit of God to lead you into all truth. This step is missed by many Christians when they read their Bibles. This is the reason why the Spirit isn't revealing anything. By just opening up the Bible and going straight to reading it we are dissecting spiritual words with our intellectual brain. This will lead us empty-handed after every reading. We need to activate the Spirit of Truth to lead us into all Truth just as Christ promised us in John 16:13. It reads, "But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come."

 

To activate the Spirit of Truth to reveal Truth to us just pray a simple prayer to God. If you don't know how or what to pray for to unlock the Spirit to lead you, feel free to use this sample prayer in the meantime that you come up with your own.

 

Pray, "Father, in your Word you said that the Spirit of Truth will come to guide us into all truth. I ask you to please activate your Spirit of Truth to guide me into all of your truth just as it says in your Word. I seek to know your Truth Father. Empower me to believe your Truth. Please open my eyes and ears, and enlighten the eyes of my heart to receive your revelations. I pray this in Y'shua's name. Amen."

The first couple of times you sit down to read your Bible, your doubts may get in the way of receiving revelation from the Spirit, but don't give up. People have come to me after the first few tries to inform me they felt sleepy or didn't receive revelation. I will tell you as I've told them, "Don't give up and believe that you will receive revelation. Go in expecting it will happen. Keep going back and trying until you receive a breakthrough."

 

After staying on the course, these people have come back excited to have finally broken through. I promise you that once the breakthrough happens you'll begin to receive revelatory glimpses of God's glorious Truth, which will not only heal you, empower you, reveal to you what is to come, but also set you free from all the lies that have kept you from being whom God created you to be and so much more!

 

For me and for others, knowing that all we needed was the Holy Spirit to lead us into all truth has proven effective! You don't need to be a genius to receive spiritual Truths, revelation, or spiritual enlightenment to awaken to all God has purposed for you! Just by reading His Word, you will get to know Him more intimately than anyone you have ever known! He will become even more real to you than the people around you!
